We've had a minor catastrophy here with our database setup.

What are we doing?

Currently we're restoring database cluster from the live backup server.

Why are we doing this?

Our live backup server isn't powerful enough to support both a production workload and restoring to the primary servers, so we need to put into maintenance mode to speed things up and get things back up and running ASAP.

How long will this take?

Honestly - we don't know - we expect it'll be < 24 hours.
